Kyri Kyriacou was appointed Director of the land ownership company, Courtco Limited, in 2015.
In 2013, Egerton Gardens (Freehold) Limited was formed to establish a collective enfranchisement claim to acquire the freehold of a building from The Welcome Trust pursuant to the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993. This was successfully completed in June 2015.
In 2011, Kyri was appointed Chairman of Egerton Gardens RTM Company Limited (recentley incorporated into Egerton Gardens (Freehold) Limited). This business operates the right to manage function of the apartments. Under his guidance, Knight Frank were appointed to handle the day-to-day management of the block.
In 2007, Kyri was appointed to the board of a residential property company, Cumberland Flats Limited, to manage a block of apartments.
Leisure
From 2000 until 2010, Kyri acted as a Director, concurrently, for Liveras Yachts, SeaChange and Mediterranean Yachts Shipping.
He was appointed to the board of Mediterranean Yachts Shipping Co in July 2001. This company had commissioned the build of two 85-metre (277 ft) luxury yachts. These shipbuilding projects amounted to an investment in excess of €160 million. In 2002 he was appointed Director of Seachange. SeaChange brought the concept of partial ownership to the luxury yacht market. This role was very specialist; there are few individuals in the world that would invest millions of dollars in partial ownership of an 85-metre (277 ft) luxury super-yacht. The sales activity involved contact with some of the world’s wealthiest people from royal families and film stars to CEO’s of some of the world’s largest companies. Part of a unique marketing and sales strategy developed by Kyri was the appointment of three of the world’s leading luxury yacht brokers to promote the concept to their clients and contacts. Kyri was a founding member of The International Yacht Owners Association. It was formed in 2004 to give yacht owners a collective voice and influence in the world of yacht charters. Its stated aims were to increase professionalism within the charter industry, eradicate bad practice in business and increase financial stability. He sat on the board from the first Owners' Summit.
In October 2000, Kyri was appointed to the board of Liveras Yachts SCS (Monaco) to assist in commercial matters and to develop a worldwide marketing and communication strategy for their superyacht fleet to coincide with an expansion programme. Click here for more information …
